International Business Management Master's Program (English) with Thesis
Innovative Approaches
REAL BUSINESS CASE ANALYSIS
Graduate students enrolled in the International Business Management Master's Program at OSTİM Technical University will visit real businesses as part of the program and, in line with the content of the courses provided, listen to real-life cases (focusing on problem areas, emerging issues, or current challenges) directly from the responsible managers (business mentors for the course). Subsequently, they will develop semester projects offering solutions to these cases, guided by the course instructor, while attending their classes simultaneously. This approach will provide them with the opportunity to observe and conduct research on real businesses and cases. Students will present and discuss their projects, which include recommendations and solutions for real business cases, in the presence of both the course instructor and the business mentor. By doing so, they will complete their courses supported by "case analysis."
Example: Conducting business plan preparation studies as a technology company in the emerging field of Mobility as a Service (MaaS), creating a business plan for the new area, presenting it, comparing it with the company's solution, and discussing it.
BUSINESS SIMULATION APPLICATIONS
Business Simulation is an experiential learning tool where participants manage a virtual business in an interactive, risk-free, and realistic environment. Business simulation games provide opportunities to develop and enhance business skills such as business intelligence, financial analysis, market analysis, business operations, decision-making, problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and leadership.
The Business Simulation to be used in the International Business Management Master's Programs at OSTİM Technical University enables the application of nearly all business functions, including procurement, inventory, production, marketing, sales, accounting, finance, strategy, leadership, and human resource management. This simulation will be integrated into the course content and utilized throughout the semester in relevant courses and topics.
